Car makers of the world will have cause for concern this year, as Tesla is set to release their first "reasonably priced" car. Tesla has already established themselves as the leading premium manufacturer of electric cars and are now looking to dominate the mid-point of the market.

With driverless cars the next big thing to come, it is unsurprising to see car manufacturers forming close partnerships with the large tech companies, such as the Ford Google partnership, and these auto incumbents looking to acquire innovative tech companies with the people and capabilities required to compete with Tesla.
